Football Recap: Power/Dutton-Brady Comes Up Short

After flying high against Reed Point/Rapelje two weeks ago, Power/Dutton-Brady came back down to earth. The Titans took a hard 54-38 fall against the Lincoln Lynx on Friday. If the Titans were looking for revenge after losing 31-28 to the Lynx when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

A big part of Lincoln's victory came down to the chemistry between Kayden Riddle and his top target Dylan Jakushak. Riddle threw for 245 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt while Jakushak gained 184 total yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance also gave Jakushak a new career-high in receiving yards (108).

Power/Dutton-Brady's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Lincoln, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Power/Dutton-Brady does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln, they have already played their next game, a 48-15 victory against Hot Springs on the 26th.
