Bourne waltzed into their match on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the West Bridgewater Wildcats by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Bourne had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-20.

Avery Morrill had a dynamite game, getting 24 digs and two aces. Those 24 digs gave her a new career-high.

Morrill wasn't the only good servers: Bourne was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in 15 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Bourne's record is now 11-1. As for West Bridgewater, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 9-5.

Bourne has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Seekonk on the 15th. As for West Bridgewater, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Norton on the 9th.
