Football Preview: Susquenita Blackhawks vs. Juniata Indians
The Susquenita Blackhawks will head out to take on the Juniata Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Susquenita will head into Friday's contest on the come-up: they were handed a 48-point defeat in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Newport on Friday. Susquenita had just enough and edged Newport out 29-26. The win was some much needed relief for the Blackhawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Susquenita relied on the efforts of Jacob Brown, who rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns, and Blaise Swancer, who picked up 153 receiving yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave Brown a new career-high in rushing yards.

Lopez also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making four total tackles in addition to snagging an interception. Connor Boreman was in the mix as well, providing Juniata with two touchdowns.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Juniata was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 301 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Susquenita's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Juniata, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
