D1 District 8 (8 Man) recap November 5, 2013
Eamon Schwarz and Kyle Pierce provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Chambers/Wheeler Central. The longest such play in D1 District 8 (8 Man) this season, the connection resulted in 70 yards.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Palmer beat Sutherland 63-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Kordell Glause threw for 297 yards and 5 touchdowns.
Josh Valasek was the best receiver in the league this week as Palmer beat the Sailors. Valasek tallied 6 receptions for 171 yards. Mitch Glause helped Palmer's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 105 yards.
On the heels of Jack Gibbens and Chett Hinton, Twin Loup has had great success on offense. Gibbens leads the league in passing with 1,005 yards, while Hinton has rushed for 1,285 yards this season. Nathan Glause's team's Valasek leads the league in receiving yards with 507 on 22 catches.
The Tigers took down Sutherland 63-14 last week, the largest margin of any game. Glause ran for 124 yards during the win.
