Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask J.P. Stevens). They blew past the New Brunswick Zebra 12-5 on Wednesday.

J.P. Stevens' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-16. As for New Brunswick, their loss was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. J.P. Stevens will head out to square off against Bloomfield at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Brunswick, they will venture away from home to take on Dunellen at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Zebra's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Destroyers have averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season.
