Volleyball Recap: Laurel-Concord-Coleridge Gets the Win

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge won the last time they faced Battle Creek and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bears came out on top against the Braves by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Rena Rasmussen paced Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's offense, picking up ten kills. Rasmussen got some help from Carlie Kvols and her 25 assists. Kaida Eriksen controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge's win bumped their record up to 19-1. As for Battle Creek, with the loss, they broke their four-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-8.

Laurel-Concord-Coleridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Oakland-Craig on the 27th. As for Battle Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against St. Paul on the 27th.
