The Bishop Snyder Cardinals will challenge the Providence School Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bishop Snyder will be coming into the matchup with an undefeated record on the line.
On Thursday, Bishop Snyder beat Tocoi Creek 8-3.
Jack Rauch tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Cody Boshell, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Tanner Upton, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Providence School, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They never let DeLand get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Tuesday. That looming 6-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Stallions yet this season.
The result came thanks to Ryan Walls's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up eight Ks. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
On the hitting side, Luke Manderson was a standout: he scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Kraft, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Providence School's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Bishop Snyder, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Bishop Snyder beat Providence School 3-0 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Does Bishop Snyder have another victory up their sleeve, or will Providence School turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
