Panhandle has gone 9-0 against Wheeler recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Panhandle Panthers will be home for the holidays to greet the Wheeler Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. Panhandle will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

Last Friday, Panhandle beat Clarendon 50-42.

Meanwhile, it looked like the Kentucky Derby when Wheeler took on Clarendon on Tuesday. Wheeler was dealt a 78-7 defeat at the hands of Clarendon. The match marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Panhandle's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.6 points. As for Wheeler, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Everything came up roses for Panhandle against Wheeler in their previous meeting back in February of 2021, as the squad secured an 86-16 victory. In that game, Panhandle amassed a halftime lead of 43-8, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
