Basketball Recap: Lisbon Takes a Loss

Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 58-33 to the Oakes Tornadoes. If the Broncos were looking for revenge after losing 40-34 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Despite the loss, Lisbon still got an impressive performance from Ryatt Wertman, who posted 15 points and three steals.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Oakes, their win bumped their record up to 14-7.

Lisbon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-26 defeat against Kindred on the 13th. As for Oakes, they have also already played their next contest, a 51-37 victory against Enderlin on the 14th.
