Dock Mennonite's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 18-2 margin over the Church Farm Griffens. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won seven games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Ethan Kratz was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Sell, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three RBI and two runs.

Dock Mennonite's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Church Farm, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Coming up, Dock Mennonite will head out to challenge Calvary Christian Academy at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Church Farm, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Collegium Charter at 3:45 p.m. The Griffens' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougar have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season.
