Soccer Recap: Carrollton Takes a Loss

Carrollton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Sandy Valley Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Sandy Valley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 back in August.

Carrollton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Sandy Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Carrollton has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Minerva on the 30th. As for Sandy Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Harrison Central on the 2nd.
