Soccer Recap: Waterford Comes Up Short

Waterford was the 3-2 winner over Gustine when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Waterford Wildcats lost 6-2 to the Gustine Reds on Wednesday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Wildcats were already down 4-1.

This is the second loss in a row for Waterford and nudges their season record down to 4-8. As for Gustine, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-4.

Waterford wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-1 victory against Denair on the 17th. Gustine has also already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Delhi on the 17th.
