Da Vinci came tearing into Tuesday's game with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Loretto Angels as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The Dragons were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Angels, so the Dragons were just returning the favor.
Da Vinci never let Loretto on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-23.
Da Vinci's win bumped their record up to 10-1-1. As for Loretto, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Da Vinci has already played their next contest (against Chaparral), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Loretto, they will venture away from home to take on Andress at 6:30 p.m. on September 5.
