After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mt. Gilead, Crestline was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Ridgemont Golden Gophers. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bulldogs considering their two-run performance the contest before.
Weston Clark made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Crestline: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 3-13 otherwise.
