Football Game Preview: Carlisle Wildcats vs. Gilbert Tigers

Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 78th, while the Polar Bears are ranked 226th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Gilbert strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bondurant-Farrar 55-6. That looming 55-6 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Carlisle's record is now 2-3. As for Gilbert, their record now sits at 5-0.
