Basketball Recap: Cabot Takes a Loss

Cabot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Jonesboro Hurricane and fell 70-33. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 146th, while the Hurricane are ranked second).

Cabot's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Jonesboro, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-1.

Cabot has already played their next contest (against Little Rock Southwest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Jonesboro will head out on the road to take on Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bryant is on a four-game streak of home wins, Jonesboro a six-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
