Soccer Game Preview: North vs. Steele

The North Rangers are taking a road trip to face off against the Steele Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North's favor is that they have posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.

North is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Everything went their way against Lorain on Monday as they made off with a 10-0 victory. North's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Their offense was hitting Lorain from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Madelyn Flick led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for five goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Steele was not quite Magnificat's equal in the second half on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Blue Streaks by a score of 1-0.

North pushed their record up to 6-9-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Steele, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4-3.
