Delta proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 29) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Richfield Wildcats 54-52. The Rabbits have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Delta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bronco Bundy, who posted 12 points and five assists. That's the most assists Bundy has posted since back in January of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Robinson, who scored 11 points and five boards.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Delta was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Delta is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Richfield, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7.

Delta wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-42 loss against Juab on the 23rd. As for Richfield, they have also already played their next game, a 71-30 win against Providence Hall on the 23rd.
