Jones threw for 305 yards and three touchdowns while Copper picked up 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Copper showed off some serious burst, cutting upfield on a catch for 56 yards. Jeremiah Hart helped Jones out on the ground, rushing for 48 yards and two touchdowns.
South Columbus' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3. As for Kinston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.
