Volleyball Recap: Rhinelander Comes Up Short

Rhinelander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Amherst Falcons, falling 3-0.

While Rhinelander was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23, 25-10.

Rhinelander's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Amherst, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Coming up, Rhinelander will head out to take on Mosinee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Indians will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Hodags surely won't give up without a fight. As for Amherst, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Shiocton at 7:00 p.m.
