Baseball Recap: South Aiken's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

South Aiken came into Wednesday's matchup having lost eight straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They won by a run and slipped past the Batesburg-Leesville Panthers 4-3.

South Aiken's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Batesburg-Leesville, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Aiken will host North Augusta at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Thoroughbreds are facing the Yellow Jackets at the right time seeing as the Yellow Jackets are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Batesburg-Leesville, they will challenge American Leadership Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
