After a string of three wins, Ravenswood's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of the St. Marys Blue Devils by a score of 2-1. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Ravenswood started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-23, 25-17.

Ravenswood's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for St. Marys, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Ravenswood wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against South Harrison on the 6th. As for St. Marys, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Magnolia on the 4th.
