Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Logan Huebner stepped things up a notch to give Escalon the 'W'. Huebner threw for 186 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes, and also rushed for 55 yards on only six carries. The performance marked the most passing touchdowns he has had since back in November of 2024.

Huebner and Escalon will venture away from home to challenge Orestimba at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Warriors thanks in part to Huebner: he rushed for 76 yards and a pair of TDs on only five carries, and also threw for 83 yards and three touchdowns.
