Basketball Recap: Paris Logan Key Part of Team Effort in Silver Knights Win

There's no place like home for Sterling, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They strolled past the Winslow Township Eagles with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 46-30. This was payback for the Silver Knights, who suffered a 55-49 loss the last time these two teams met.

Sterling's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Paris Logan led the charge by putting up 13 points in addition to seven boards and three steals. Logan is becoming a predictor of Sterling's success: when she posts at least three steals the team is 4-1 (and 9-12 when she doesn't). Another player making a difference was Amber Wilsey, who posted seven points and five rebounds.

The win got Sterling back to even at 13-13. As for Winslow Township, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Sterling does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winslow Township, they will head out on the road to square off against Eastside at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
