Softball Recap: Eagan Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Eagan duked it out with Lakeville South on Monday. The Wildcats took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The game marked the first time this season in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Eagan has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season. As for Lakeville South, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-6.

When Eagan and Lakeville South next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. The Wildcats will face off against Rosemount and their three-game winning streak at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
