Volleyball Recap: Magoffin County Takes a Loss

Magoffin County lost against Paintsville back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hornets lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Magoffin County took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11, 25-12.

Magoffin County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Paintsville, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Magoffin County will be playing in front of their home fans against Menifee County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Paintsville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Martin County on the 28th.
