Softball Recap: Simley Comes Up Short

The matchup between Simley and South St. Paul on Wednesday hardly resembled the 4-0 effort from their previous meeting. The Spartans fell just short of the Packers by a score of 10-9. The Spartans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Packers earlier this season, when they won 4-0.

Simley's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for South St. Paul, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-14.

As of now, neither Simley nor the Packers have any future games scheduled.
