Softball Recap: Quincy Drops Season-High Score on Eau Claire

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Quincy). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Eau Claire Beavers an 18-0 shutout on Saturday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Orioles considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Quincy's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6. As for Eau Claire, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Quincy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-7 defeat against White Pigeon on the 26th. As for Eau Claire, they have also already played their next match, a 16-0 loss against Mendon on the 26th.
