 The Oak Grove Eagles will head out on the road to  square off against  the Mountain View Spartans at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday. Oak Grove is no doubt hoping to put an end to  a six-game streak of away losses.
 Oak Grove lost  17-5 to Silver Creek on Thursday.
  Tatyana Watson was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Alyssa Iraheta, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Mountain View entered their tilt with Fremont with three consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Firebirds onto the board and left with  a   10-0  victory  on Friday.
  Caroline ` Kim made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Kim has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive pitching appearances. Kim was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-2.
 In other batting news,  Shivani Nangia and  Mikayla` Kim did most of the damage at the plate:  Nangia  went 1-for-1 with a  triple, two  RBI,  and a  run, while  Kim  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Kim has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Tabby Smith, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Oak Grove's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Mountain View, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last eight games,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-9 record  this season.
