An exciting East v. West battle is about to be fought. The Green Bay East Red Devils will square off against the Green Bay West Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither Green Bay East nor Green Bay West posted many points in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Green Bay East and Manitowoc Lincoln, and Manitowoc Lincoln kept the tradition alive. The Red Devils took a 20-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ships on Saturday.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Demarion Brown, who picked up 132 receiving yards and one score. He really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 90 yards. Abrian Allen also helped out with an impressive 81 receiving yards.

Meanwhile, Green Bay West was beaten by Notre Dame Academy 49-7 on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Tritons: they've now lost five in a row.

Green Bay East's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Green Bay West, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Things could have been worse for Green Bay East, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 21-6 loss to Green Bay West when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Red Devils, Sam Hemery (who rushed for 31 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 111 yards and one TD) won't be suiting up this time.
