Brighton lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Flushing, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. The Bulldogs blew past the Raiders 15-8 on Friday. The Bulldogs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The win made it two in a row for Brighton and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Flushing, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Brighton will challenge Northville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Flushing, they will take on Linden at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup will give the Raiders their first taste of in-conference action this season.
