The Middle College Cougars won the last time they faced the Animo South Los Angeles Panthers, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Middle College breezed by Animo South Los Angeles on the road to the tune of 57-16. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Middle College has managed all season.
Middle College's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Caeleb Franklin, who scored ten points along with five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Lebron Hasan, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Middle College is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. As for Animo South Los Angeles, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
