Volleyball Recap: Sequoyah Takes a Loss

Sequoyah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the South-Doyle Cherokees. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Chiefs have suffered against the Cherokees since September 23, 2021.

Sequoyah's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South-Doyle, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Sequoyah and South-Doyle will both be playing Alcoa the next time they take the court. The Chiefs will head out to face the Tornadoes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cherokees will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
