St. John Paul II's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Aucilla Christian Warriors 6-4. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won three in a row.

SHAVON STEWART was excellent, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was ALIYAH MEDRANO, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

The win got St. John Paul II back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, St. John Paul II will host FAMU DRS at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. St. John Paul II is facing FAMU DRS at the right time seeing as FAMU DRS is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Aucilla Christian, they will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Rickards at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
