Volleyball Recap: Johnston Victorious

Johnston won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way on Saturday too. The Dragons narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Lynx 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Dragons have posted since September 20th.

Grayce Reiners was the offensive standout of the contest as she had five digs and three aces. Emma Gray also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Johnston was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Johnston's record is now 11-15. As for Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-22.

Johnston has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Des Moines Christian on the 4th. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Sioux City East at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
