General McLane extended their winning streak to five on Friday, bumping them up to 5-1. Everything went their way against the Fort LeBoeuf Bison as they made off with a 42-20 victory. The Lancers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 21 points or more this season.

Matt Caro threw for 314 yards and four touchdowns while completing 84% of his passes. Kyle McConnell was his top target, picking up 122 receiving yards and a pair of scores. On the ground, Nick Swenson rushed for 61 yards on only eight carries.

As for Fort LeBoeuf, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for they, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Several Bison players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Skyler Sadowski, who rushed for 146 yards and two TDs. Sadowski has become a key player for Fort LeBoeuf: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Dominic Walters, who rushed for 82 yards.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. General McLane will square off against Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers will be up against the Dragons' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.83 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Fort LeBoeuf, they will take on Fairview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
