Soccer Recap: Mount St. Mary Comes Up Short

If Mount St. Mary was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Cache last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rockets came up short against the Chickasha Fighting Chicks on Friday, falling 6-0. Considering the last time Mount St. Mary couldn't score was back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.

Mount St. Mary's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-2. As for Chickasha, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mount St. Mary is set to square off against their familiar foe Harrah at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Chickasha will take on rival Cache at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
