Basketball Recap: Berthoud Comes Up Short at Home Against Silver Creek + How To Watch

Berthoud unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were outmatched by the Silver Creek Raptors and fell 85-55. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Raptors recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Berthoud lost on Tuesday despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ryan Callies, who posted 20 points and seven rebounds. Landon Russick was another key player, shooting 60% from the field en route to 16 points along with seven boards and three steals.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berthoud will host Loveland at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Silver Creek, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Canon City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
