It was a good run, but Heber Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 9-2 to the Morrilton Devil Dogs. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Devil Dogs earlier this season, when they won 7-3.

Heber Springs' defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 16-7. As for Morrilton, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-10-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Heber Springs will venture away from home to take on Wynne at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Morrilton, they will take on Maumelle at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
