Softball Recap: St. Clair Comes Up Short

After flying high against Dakota on Wednesday, St. Clair came back down to earth. The Saints fell 8-3 to the Armada Tigers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

Mallorie Randall made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI. Madisyn Treat also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

St. Clair's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5-1. As for Armada, they are on a roll lately: they've won 19 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-6 record this season.

As of now, neither St. Clair nor Armada have any future games scheduled.
