Paige Rogers made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Mechanicville got a massive performance out of Riley LaPierre, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most hits LaPierre has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brooke Burton, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs.
Mechanicville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. They are 3-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
The victory got Mechanicville back to even at 6-6. As for Berlin/New Lebanon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
