There's no place like home for Ocosta, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. Everything went their way against the Naselle Comets on Monday as the Ocosta Wildcats made off with a 71-47 win. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ocosta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sonny Beard, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Beard a new career-high in blocks (three). Dalton Welch was another key player, going 7 of 14 en route to 14 points in addition to five assists and five boards.

Ocosta smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Ocosta's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 33.7 points. As for Naselle, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Coming up, Ocosta will square off against Pe Ell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Ocosta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.7 points per game this season. As for Naselle, they will take on Wahkiakum at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
