North Hills took a six-run defeat the last time they faced off against Shaler Area, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Indians skirted past the Titans 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Indians sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

North Hills' win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Shaler Area, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 5-4.

Coming up, North Hills will face off against Plum at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Indians are on a three-game streak of home wins, the Mustangs a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. As for Shaler Area, they will venture away from home to square off against New Castle at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Titans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hurricanes have averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season.
