Football Game Preview: MacArthur Generals vs. Jacksonville Crimsons

The MacArthur Generals will take on the Jacksonville Crimsons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times MacArthur and Rochester have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Generals were dealt a 51-14 loss at the hands of the Rockets. While losing is never fun, the Generals can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 162nd, while the Rockets are ranked 25th).

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Jacksonville's offense. They were outmatched by Quincy Notre Dame and fell 28-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Crimsons were not able to get on the board.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Jacksonville, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
