Volleyball Recap: Central Valley Takes a Loss

Central Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 29th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Yreka Miners, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Miners this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

While Central Valley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Yreka's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-21.

Central Valley's record now sits at 0-25. As for Yreka, their win bumped their record up to 15-13.

Central Valley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Lassen on the 9th. As for Yreka, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Anderson on the 9th.
