Recap: Millersburg Indians vs. Line Mountain Eagles

The Millersburg Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They rang in the new year with a 59-50 victory over Line Mountain. The victory was nothing new for Millersburg as they're now sitting on three straight.

Millersburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kamdyn Heintzelman out in front who scored 25 points. The contest was Heintzelman's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Romberger, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.

Millersburg pushed their record up to 5-7 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Line Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Millersburg is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Greenwood at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th. As for Line Mountain, they will face off against East Juniata at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
