Soccer Game Preview: Exeter vs. Timberlane

The Exeter Blue Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Timberlane Owls at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Exeter is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 13 games.

Exeter is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New Hampshire's top teams: Nashua North, who was ranked sixth at the time (Exeter was ranked 15th). The Blue Hawks narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Titans 2-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Timberlane). Everything went their way against Manchester Memorial on Thursday as they made off with an 8-1 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Timberlane's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Exeter's record is now 13-1. As for Timberlane, their record now sits at 4-8-1.
