Softball Recap: Roosevelt Comes Up Short

Roosevelt suffered their closest defeat since March 28, 2024 on Friday. They fell just short of the Poway Titans by a score of 3-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Poway, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Roosevelt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Canyon del Oro on the 4th. As for Poway, they have also already played their next matchup, a 4-2 defeat against Millikan on the 4th.
