Recap: West Florence Knights vs. Hartsville Red Foxes
The West Florence Knights were the 57-39 winner over the Hartsville Red Foxes when they last played one another back in October of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. West Florence was beaten by Hartsville 55-19 on Thursday.
Hakeem Watters continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Hartsville, rushing for 172 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries. Watters is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. McKendrie Douglas also helped with two touchdowns in total.
West Florence's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Hartsville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Florence will take on South Florence at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. One thing working in South Florence's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last four matches. As for Hartsville, they will be playing at home against Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on October 27th. Wilson is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
