Perry entered their tilt with Hoover on Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Vikings 8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Panthers have posted against the Vikings since May 27, 2021.

Perry pushed their record up to 6-13-1 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Hoover, their loss dropped their record down to 11-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Perry will take on rival Green at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hoover is set to square off against their familiar foe Jackson at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Vikings 2.9, the Polar Bears 4.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
